Dr Sima Delghandi

Dr Sima Delghandi is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and member of the German Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Graduating in 1994 from the Ruhr University in Bochum Germany she became certified under the diligent regulations of Germany’s Facharzt before achieving her Facharzt degree in 2001, from the Ärztekammer in Münster.

Prior to her 2006 arrival in the UAE, Dr Sima practised within the Maternity and Gynaecology department of several German hospitals, including the Marien Hospital Witten, Gemeinschafts Hospital Herdecke, and Marien Hospital in Schwerte. In addition to her medical practice, Dr Sima was a lecturer at the Nursing School of Marien Krankenhaus Schwerte as well as a fellow collaborator in the establishment of Emirates Endometriosis League (EMEL), an organisation for the awareness and treatment of endometriosis disease.

Dr Sima offers both obstetrics and gynaecological services (OB-GYN). Dr Sima’s obstetric services cover the entire scope of pregnancy from pre-conception to labour and delivery to post-natal care. Dr Sima’s gynaecological services address women’s medical advice and treatment concerning the reproductive system to advanced surgical procedures using laparoscopic surgery, with her primary OB-GYN speciality being laparoscopic surgery and diagnosis of infertility.

Throughout her 15 years of practice within the UAE, Dr Sima has deservedly built a reputation based not only on her distinguished skills in laparoscopic surgical procedures and general OB-GYN, but also for her professionalism, personal care, and dedication to her patients.
