Manon Proye
In 2014, Manon Proye received a bachelor’s degree in Language and Speech Therapy from the Marie Haps Higher Education Institute in Brussels. She continued to advanced her skills with trainings in Dysorality through the Dyskate Formation in Paris and completed the Autism Spectrum Disorder learning program from the University of Geneva. A desire to discover new paths in furthering her professional development brought Manon Proye to Phnom Penh, Cambodia where she managed a private practice while working as a Speech Therapy Specialist within the Descartes International French School. In 2018, moving on from this wonderful professional and personal-life experience, she settled in Dubai.
Manon proye’s main scope of intervention is focused on supporting children with learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, or oral and written language disorders. She bases therapy on the children’s interests and hobbies to focus their attention and inspire motivation, helping them to acquire new skills faster. She has also worked with adults presenting with voice disorders as well as supportive therapies following ENT surgeries.
Manon Proye is guided by two crucial aspects for success in speech therapy: the first being teamwork with parents, school staff, and every professional involved in the child’s environment. Second is creating a personalized and carefully detailed plan for treatment.
